Sixteen lifestyle, food, and home bloggers were invited to attend a launch event for Food Network star Sandra Lee’s new Sandra by Sandra Lee collection. The event, “Sandra’s Summer Carnival,” sponsored by Sears and Kmart, took place a The Kitchen NYC, a kitchen studio and event space.
Bloggers brunched with Lee, participated in her signature “tablescapes” and enjoyed interacting with the star. Notable for a brand event, special attention was paid to each blogger and her site. “Sandra Lee spoke to us for a long time, going over each blogger’s history and blog genre,” blogged Randi Dukes at Dukes and Duchesses.
The point of the event was to showcase Lee’s new line. “Of course every detail was well executed and showcased her exclusive collection of home products including cookware, utensils, gadgets, bakeware, small kitchen appliances, tabletop items and storage solutions,” blogged Rebecca Parsons of Cre8tive Compass Magazine.
“I couldn’t have been more impressed with Sandra. She’s so real, so down-to-earth, a great speaker, and really funny. It was like hanging out with a friend,” said Dukes.
