During the weeks leading up to BlogHer, a group of bloggers were secretly planning and practicing for the first BlogHer flashmob. Named Operation Glory, the flashmob was arranged and choreographed by Mary from The Mama Mary Show and Theresa from Rock On Mommies.
The group had a private facebook page where they organized details and learned choreography. “We spent countless hours recruiting people via Twitter and Facebook, and ran virtual rehearsals on UStream”, says Mary. After a month of rehearsal, the big moment arrived, at 12:15 during the scheduled lunch on Friday. “The entire pavilion filled with explosive positive energy. People gathered around, began hooting and hollering, and immediately pulled out their flip cams”, Mary recalls. “Those three short minutes proved the power of music, dance, teamwork and courage. It takes a lot of hutzpah to get up in the middle of a GIGANTIC pavilion filled with thousands of your peers to do a dance like that, and ALL of the women who participated felt the same rush of joy and adrenaline, just like I did.”

I felt so grateful to be included with those women! Dancing alongside them will be the highlight of my year!
One of the coolest things I have ever done. Ever. I am sad that it’s over because now I have no compelling reason to watch Theresa and Mary dance on the practice video every night. Except their extreme cuteness.
That is beyond awesome! So glad I got to see the recording as I wasn’t there in person. I really enjoyed it!!
That gave me goose bumps! (And made a little weepy from joy!)
Thank you so much for sharing this video :->
