After noticing a need for day planners and organizers specifically designed for Moms, Nina Restieri founded momAgenda in 2005, a company dedicated to helping Moms get organized with style. Since then momAgenda has continued to grow, and four years later Nina crossed paths with Heather Reinhard, blogger and founder of ThetaMom.com. They began working together and started the Council of Media Moms, or COMM, in 2011. momAgenda’s Council of Media Moms is a group of influential bloggers who market momAgenda to an audience consisting of women and mothers.
Heather’s blog and online presence has grown in many ways, including the addition of the Theta Mom Community, Theta Mom Marketplace and her recent joint venture as co-founder of The Launching Mom. As the leader and manager of the Council of Media Moms, Heather says “Working with Nina (President of momAgenda) has been nothing short of amazing. I am honored to represent this brand because she has built this company in such an organic and authentic way - she’s a working mom of four herself and has created the kind of product that helps every busy mom out there stay organized. She’s in the trenches alongside of us and she wouldn’t have it any other way.”
Now, only a year after the start of the Council of Media Moms, Nina and Heather are looking to expand and add additional bloggers. Heather says “Nina and I decided to expand the COMM Team based on the overwhelming response we received last year. The momAgenda community welcomed us with open arms and the relationships that this brand has made with bloggers is priceless; after a very successful year with The Council of Media Moms we wanted to expand our reach even further, providing an opportunity to grow the Team as well as the community. We both couldn’t be more pleased with the direction and growth of COMM.”
