Clever Girls Collective Caps Off BlogHer11 with “Ladies Who Tech” Brunch

After three solid days of sessions, meetings, bonding, pitching, and parties, parties, parties, what better way to close BlogHer’11 than with a lovely brunch with the Clever Girls Collective.

As if being brilliant and beautiful isn’t enough, these girls KNOW how to host a party. Enlisting the help of Tech Savvy Mama Leticia Barr, Kris Cain (aka Little Tech Girl), TechMamas‘ Beth Blecherman, and  Heidi Leder of Coast2Coast Mom, they gathered other tech bloggers on the rooftop of Hotel Solamar for mimosa, bagels, and eggs and an opportunity to mingle with sponsors.

Logitech was giving away mice and displayed a collection of portable keyboards, webcams, and other devices for busy bloggers on the go. Etymotic Research featured their line of auditory-saving devices including bluetooth headsets, earphones, and ear plugs.

However, the award for the cutest sponsor goes to iLoveRobots. Their furry robotic toys, Penbo, talk, dance, and coo with one another. They were adorable! The designer and PR rep were present and offering bloggers a chance to review these dolls, as well as Blazor, the “raging robotic raptor”.

Popcap Games and PodoTree were also in attendance to talk about their upcoming products.

Live music was quietly strummed by a musician as guests sunned themselves and enjoyed one last gorgeous view of San Diego. It was a such a low-key and peaceful way to end the weekend; if not a total contrast to the fabulous “I’m With The Brand” all-out extravaganza thrown in the same location just three nights before.

As I said, the Clever Girls Collective know how to host an event!
