You may have noticed that things have been a bit quiet around here for a while.
We’ve been working hard behind the scenes, collaborating on an exciting future for ShePosts. As you may know, Esther Brady Crawford founded the website in 2009. Esther’s brilliance is calling her to grand things with the up-and-coming GLMPS iphone app and many other endeavors. We are excited to announce that a change of ownership has occurred through a sale of the site, with Kristen Howerton and Deb Rox stepping up to partner as co-owners going forward. Kristen has been acting as managing editor of ShePosts for the past year, and Deb brings a wealth of experience as an entrepreneurial business development and project management consultant with deep roots in the blogosphere as a blogger, agent/business liaison for bloggers and frequent conference speaker. We plan to continue Esther’s goal of being a knowledgeable resource for news, information and analysis about the influential women’s blogosphere. Fortunately, Esther has agreed to stay on as Founding Advisor, and you’ll still see her posts here when she can squeeze in time. We are thrilled to carry on her vision.
We will be ramping up over the next few months as we add some new writers and grow in new directions as well. We are hoping to broaden our coverage of women in online media, expanding well beyond the mommy blogging niche. We’re also going to add some practical how-to’s and editorials, while maintaining the news bites and tech info that ShePosts is known for. We hope to be a resource for new bloggers to learn the basics and for developing bloggers to expand their writing and monetization skills. And, of course, we will continue covering the brand partnerships, conferences, and developing trends and topics that seem to resonate with our readers.
Most of all, our goal here at ShePosts is to highlight what YOU are doing – to shine the spotlight on women who are changing the landscape of social media. We can’t do that without your input . . . so we hope that you will continue to keep us posted on your news, events, and opinions. We will also be growing our team of writers, so if you are interested in being a part of the team please shoot us an email. We believe that our industry sector is important and worthy of broad attention. More than anything, we would love your feedback about what you like about ShePosts, and what you would like to see more of in the future.

Hooray! I’m so glad you’re doing this. When Kim told me She Posts might be over, I was heartbroken. Really. To lose such an intelligent, informative site–in a soup of blogging mediocrity–was a crime. I even thought about whether I could add some funds to keep it going. Truly, She Posts cannot die!
